THE PROJECT

Our project aims to integrate a European common core in the national training path for trucks maintenance.

The European common core is composed of three modules linked to the heavy vehicle field:

  • Support and advice in the workshop organisation and customer relationship,

  • Technical expertise and production of statistical surveys and new products feedback on national and local markets,

  • Permanent training courses on new products and diagnostic.

Each module is taught during a three-week period in Sweden, France, and Spain respectively, alternating training at the host school and in companies.

Having previously followed a specific training of three to four years in the Automotive Maintenance sector or in the Mechanics Technology sector, students between 18 and 25 years old strengthen their technical knowledge over a total period of two years.

By working in groups composed of one young from each participating country, students benefit from a real exchange during this nine-week program (315 hours). English is the common language of training and each module is taught by a Swedish, a Spanish and a French trainer.

Combining theoretical courses and first-hand experience, students develop each specific skill, consolidate their capacity to master both technical and managerial activities and expand their ability to coordinate international and local company development strategies.
