The Swedish group arrived in Girona at 23:00 o’clock in Saturday and stayed one night at a hotel. The next day we eat breakfast and take a buss to the central station and then a train to Barcelona. The journey take about one and half-hour. In Barcelona we met the Spanish teacher Joseph Fernandez and walked to the hotel. We left our bags and went to a restaurant and eat good food.

The French delegation arrived in the airport of Barcelona at 16:15-o clock and takes bags in the location car. After we went to the hotel in the metro and train. We have meet the Swedish et Spanish for eating.

In Monday, we meet all delegations in Escola del treball. We met in room of acts, and presentation the all teachers that implicates in this program in the Spanish module. And gave the bag with a documentation on Barcelona with maps. After the students went to the computer room for verificate the password and verificator We played football with a mix selections and after we went to the class and talked about what we remembered of French State and started the class and the final evaluation, activities and criteria in Sweden. We started the Planification training, with Patrick McCarri, this class was about organisation in the enterprises. The first part of this class is learn organigram, and after realised any exercise. The second class was about project and what we got a scheme to know what to do the next three weeks. The last class is about the visual information is a very interesting for all, and realised various exercise about this theme.

In the morning, we visited TMB (Barcelona Metropolitan Transports ). The visit consisted to looked the installations where they produce the hydrogen and natural gas. We learnt how hydrogen buses work. We visited the natural gas workshop and the hydrogen’s buses workshop. The Manager of TMB who was responsible for this visit, showed us the function of the security system in the natural gas workshop. If you have a gas leak in the workshop the doors opens and the electricity will cut of and the fans starts to blow the gas out of the workshop. After that, we visited the workshop where they repair engines, gearboxes and dieselpumps. Then we went for lunch. After lunch we were back at the school and had lesson in training the trainer. During the lesson we made different activities for understand the importance for comunication. And how to comunicate better. We did an exercise where we write down important things to think about when you speak to adults in a trainning program.

Today we have had lunch at 2 o'clock. After that we have started class at 3 o'clock with Patrick McCarri in the Audiovisual Room. The class was about Plannification Training. We saw the different kinds of enterprises. After that we did with groups the organigram of a workshop or a dealer and the competences a worker have to have; Knowledge, skills and attitudes. Then one person have exposed the ideas in front of the class. The class has finished at five o'clock and we have had a little break. At 5 o'clock we have started training practice with Xavier Marín in the same classroom. With Xavier we have learnt about the different perceptions of the things in fact of the point of view. Then we have learnt how to be a good teacher; how to mantain the attention of the class, how to make it more interesting and how to motivate the students. We have worked in groups and then one of us has exposed our ideas. We have also learnt the non-verbal expressions, how you can comunicate without doing anything, and about open and close questions. We have also worked this in groups and then we have asked to other groups open and close questions. We have finished classes at 8 o'clock. It have been very interesting for all of us.

Our day started with a lesson about how to plan a training. We learned about analysing, designing, development implementation , and evaluation. This was called the training cycle. We learned that the training cycle begins long before the training program and continues long after the program has been completed.

fantastic. We do a trip to Merceders and we stay all the day in the woork shop. In the moorning we do a program with a recepcionist, and this program speaks about all the things you have to do to be the costumers happy with the company and with the workshop. We see all the steps of a recepcion of a car an all the things. After we go to eat and in the evening we stay in the woorkshop working with a diagnostic machine. Steeven – Marcus - Victor

Renaud: I went out to see the town of Barcelona and the beach. I ate in a restaurant with the french students. The city was very beautiful and the food was very good. Joonas: I visited Sagrada de familia, and went shopping but i didn´t find anyhthing. The rest of the time i was sun bathing. Guillem: Not here at the moment. (UPDATE will come i think)

During this weekend, we have visited some parts of Barcelona, the olympic mountain watch the wiev. We have also been on the beach watching some nice girls!!!!! Then, on the night the swedish delegation went to the pubs of Maremagnum and then they went to the discoteque “SUNSET”. On the other hand, the french delegation went to the Passeig the Gracia zone and went to the discoteque Otto Zutz!!!! All of them are agree that Barcelona it’s a very interesting and good nice city to make parties and make a very good holidays!!!!!in here there are a lot of monuments and very good beaches!!! The experience it was goooooddd for all the student’s!!!

Monday 21 May 2007 Eduard Gonzalez, Mickaël Pinho, Johan Kryssbo. Today we have donde class at 9 o’clock with Peter McCarry and he has teached us about the good organization and how to get a good objective to teach some mechanics to do it. We have done the organigram to change the engine of a truck with safety, choosing the correct tools and following a procedure to have a nice job in the correct time. Sometimes is difficult to understand the teacher and make the practics because some of us have difficults with the language but we improve it and the result is excellent and we think that this is good and we are learning a lot about teaching the trainers. We have finished at 14 o’clock and we have gone to the restaurant to get a nice food. Some of the French and Sweedish students have a problem with the hour of the dinner. Now we have finished the class and tomorrow will do the same class with Peter.

The time that we was staying in the company we were very good!!!we worked in different groups and this was good for one thinks, and bad for others; for exemple we have one mechanic for each studen’t and learn more, but on the other hand we didn’t make the activity together. But we think that it’s better to make this to learn more concepts. We made different technical activities: - Brake pads and discs. 4 hours - Remove and open a gear box. 3 days - Remove an engine. 2 day - Made diagnostics with computer. ½ hour - Changed an a.c. radiator. 1 hour - Went to saw the functionment of the store. - Change the valve to up the cabin. - Clean the ABS sensor and made the diagnosis. - … we made more activities but the list it’s very long if we write all of them. In general we felt a good atmosfere an good organization but people don’t have a good level in english and this difficult the comunication between the foreigner student’s with the technics of the enterprise.

COMPANY WEEK Eduard Gonzalez Mickaël Pinho, Johan Kryssbo In the company we mostly looked at the mechanics and some times we have worked in a truck with one mechanic and he was teaching us. We worked in gear boxes, brake systems, engine valve timming, and fast services. Normally we did some reparations every day so one day we spend it changing all the transmision system of the truck We worked with many mechanics at the company but the most ussually was that every day all of us worked with the same mechanic. We worked with the mechanic but, sometimes the reparation was very difficult and all the group was in the same truck. We are lucky because in the trucks, sometimes to make one reparation 2 or 3 mechanics are needed. We learned a lot of new things in this company and we have had a good welcome in Volvo and we have worked with nice mechanics. We thing that this week is a new experience and One of us, the spanish student have get a new job in this workshop.

Company Week group: Guillem, Renaud and Joonas. Mohn S.L. A private company in Viladecance. The first day Guillem, the spanish student showed us the way of travel to Viladecance. We didn´t do anything we only watched Alfonso when he worked and explained how the things he was working with worked. 1.What kind of technical activities - Electrical and air conditioner. 2.How long took it - It depends on the job. 3.Did you have a tutor in the company - Yes his name is Alfonso, he is an electrician. 4.Did you work with the group - No work only watch. But it was interesting. 5.What did we learn - Renaud and Guillem learned new english vocabulary with Joonas. 6.Things to improve - We think that there is a need for better english in the company we was in. 7.Do you think that you can apply for a job in a spanish company - Its very difficult because Joonas and Renaud don´t speak catalan or spanish so we can´t comunicate with the workers or the boss.

Monday.14 The first day we go out of the hotel at 8.30 we take the metro and we stop at Sants Estacio to take the bus to Martorell. We lose the bus and we wait at the at bus station 2 hours. We take the bus at 11 and we arrive at the workshop at 11.45. Then me speak with the boss, we see all the workshop we present to the other mecanics and then we start to work. The first day we work a little, we take out the gear box to repair inside, we do the manteniment of trucks changing the oil, the filters and reglage of valves etc. The first day we finish at 4 o'clock and it was a good day, we lear more english, swedish and spanish. Thursday. 15 We start at 8 o'clock and this day we work separete with spanish mecanics, (very good mans and very crazy). This day we work a lot, we change 3 cluntchs, we do some mantenimets and we change a final drive. Every day we finish to eat at 13.00 and we go to lunch all to a resteaurant near the workshop (very good menú) After eat we drive fenwick to remove some peaces like gear box or other heavy things. Wenesday.16 We start like every day at 8 o'clock, and this day the work was pour, we only do some manteniments of trucks and chage the door of a trailer. Thursday 17 This day they was a lot of work and we work separete all the day. We do service on the trucks, we gear box, we change the clutch, we remove some pistons, we change one propeller shaft, and one final drive. This day was very hard all the day woorking and we dont have tame to take a coffe, work , work and more work was very good. Friday.18 Friday was the last day on the comany and this day was very funny, we dont work some much, but all the day we talk with other mecanis we laught with them and we go to eat with them to the restaurant. This day was verry funny after we was a little sad because was a very good week. In the company we do more mecanic works than electric or other works, and we work we thing many hours in all the week we was woorking and and we dont do other things we only work, it was very good and we learn many things. Some days we work with other mecanics and some days we works in groupe alone, doing the manteniment on a truck. We think that we can work in sapanish company but we want to work in Scania because the people is very good is a big and good company and all the week was

Saulliere Arranz Berntsson The last week in the company we made some activities. We renovated a engine, we were busy all week whit the same engine. Paco was our teacher, he was very nice, explained everything but he couldn’t speak English. But we handle it whit Ruben as translator. When Ruben is in bed injured Johan and Sébastien was alone on the company but the sign language was good. We worked in the same group all week, we renovated the engine completely. Everyone improved their English very much. Johan and Sébastien learned little Spanish aswell. The food on the company was free and its very good. Everyone improved their technical knowledge and skills about the engine. The company can improve their English because no one spoke English whit us. But our teacher at the company was very good so their was no problem, if he saw us standing doing nothing he gave us work instant. We think the only one that can handle the job is Rubèn, Johan and Sébastien can not speak whit other mechanical. When you are a beginner in the company you need to speak whit the other workers about problems etc. Before we go to Sweden we prepare our Swedish and English some usual sentences.

The last week we went to Renault trucks to do practice. We did different works : .Change injectors .Repair two gear boxes .To look the repair of engine .Diagnosic problem for injectors .Changing steeringshaft .A lot of small activities In this company we work with a lot of people in the work shop for look at different systems and activities. We work in a group al of the time. We have learnd works like, how to take a gearbox apart and how to ensamble it. Rapair an old engine. To make tiagnostic tests in different systems. It whould be better if we had more work to do because a lot of the time we havent any work. The workers in the company couldent speak english so it was difficult to anderstand things some times. It would be hard to work in this company because they only speak spanish.

The week at Mercedes Benz. Our workshop is in zona franca is a zine outside of Barcelona, in the zone of the enterprises We look at the mecanicen when he removed the gearbox on the Actros (1/2 day), change one clutch on the Actros (1 day), Change one radiator of water on Atego (2 hours), to the repair on the street, for one belt of alternator (1 day) and change the front glass on the services trucks (1 morning). We realised a 3 support for safety wheels, in rear of the cabine of the new trucks (3 days). We worked with several mecanicien during the week. They don’t speak english, they speak just Spainish. During the week the Sweedish student worked with the French student during 3 days. The Spanish student work with other french student durting 1 day. The french and the spanish students learned diagnostic problems on the trucks and worked in other enterprise. We would have like to have one mecanicien speak English. Web Report: Scabarna Port: Our workshop was in the port of Barcelona, nearby the sea. The dealer was Scania Trucks. It was a little workshop with only a few workers. The first technical activity we did was to change the ABS sensors on the back wheels. It took one hour more or less. The boss of the workshop was the man that showed us how to do this. We did this toghether the whole group. Was a simple work and it didn’t take much time to organitzate. We were in a good enviroment to work very calm and in good conditions. It can be apllied on any truck or vehicle because the sistem is the same. Another tecnical activity was the diagnosis with the computer of a truck. It had some problems with the brake system so we had to find it out and solve the problem. It was on a sensor in the brake caliper. The only way to fix it was changing the whole caliper. After changing it, it worked correctly and we checked it out again with the computer. We also worked with the suspension of the cabine. The sinlent blocks had too much gap so we had to change them. We worked another time in that system because there was an air bottle broken so we had to change it also. It took a long time to fix this problem because it was difficult to ensemble it Another day we worked on a truck that was to be sold, so we were preparing it. We put the spoiler on the correct place, and sokme other things. In conclusion it was interesting to know the spanish style of work and we could learn some interesting things to be applyed on the future. The rythm of work was very good and we enjoyed the place. Week at Volvo The first day we have to visit the volvo company we have to meet the team of mechanic and we were put each with a different mechanic. We have a little to participate but there was no one who speaks english, so the language was a big problem to make a good job. But aniways, we did a lot of work in the whole week, Gearbox, cluch, electric brakes.. and many other practices. All of that with a good ambient of work and the most valuable cooperation of the workeros and the responsible of the company. Cristian fredrik and sebastien. -What kind of technical activities? Change Two clutch and replace the rolling and mechanism of rear axle -How long tooked it? For the clutch 1day for each clutch and for the differential 3days -Did you have a tutor inte conpany? We have working with different mechanics in the conpany. Did you work with the grup? No each person was from his part. Add value technical language organisation environnement? No because mechanics could not explain to us in English they did not speak about the language. Things to inprove To Be with a mechanic who speaks English so that he can explain us what it makes. Do you think that you can apply for a job in a spanish company? We discovered how worked a manufacturer because i work in a little conpany.

We have beenin in class of “training the trainer” with Patrick MC CARRY. The objective of this class is to learn how to teach other poeple. In the middle of the class we have taked a break and we have played football all together The french team win and the spanish and svedish team lose. Yesterday we went to the company Nogé. The company are situated at the village “arbucies” 80 kilometers from Barcelona. We went all together in a bus From the Hotel and arrived in one hour more or less. It was interesting because we can see the complete process of producing busses. We walked into the factory and we can see the workers producing busses. Than we went to lunch at a resturant near the company. After lunch we took the bus to Barcelona and arrived 5 o´clock.

Today was the last day of Mister Mc Carry´s classes. After we played football and all together wins. Play football is good because we can mix the teams, play sport and at the same time our skins gets tan, it´s good! We prepared the presentation of the Swedish module.
